Elastic Compute

Intalio|Elastic Compute provides an elastically scalable and fault-tolerant compute infrastructure for private cloud deployment. It supports any operating system, and is plug-compatible with the Amazon EC2 API, while supporting a broader range of Quality of Service requirements.

Intalio|Elastic Compute assumes the availability of a failsafe database such as Intalio|Elastic Database that is responsible for storing persistent sessions. As a result, failover of the compute tier is achieved by re-assigning active sessions that were handled by a failed server to other servers available in the cluster. This is achieved dynamically by the distributed load balancer installed on every single server participating in the elastic compute cluster.
