A couple of years ago, we developed a connector for SAP that allowed us to generate web service interfaces automatically for any BAPI, RFC, and IDOC, for any version of SAP R/3 or mySAP.com. We recently ported this connector to Intalio|BPMS 4.x, and I just got a demonstration for a working version. It’s actually pretty cool: you configure your connector from Intalio|Designer in order to link it to a given SAP instance, and before you know it you get a couple hundred thousand SAP transactions available as web services, on the fly, without having to write any code. Even better, the solution works for older versions of SAP R/3, all the way back to SAP R/3 3.1i. If you would like more information about this component, please contact sales@intalio.com.
