I am extremely pleased to report that Intalio just entered into an OEM agreement with IBM. According to the terms of the non-exclusive agreement, IBM WebSphere Application Server Community Edition (WAS CE) will ship for free with any copy of Intalio|BPMS Community Edition, without any CPU limitations. Additionally, WAS CE will be the default application server for Intalio|BPMS Enterprise Edition. Enhanced Support will be provided at no extra cost with the Silver and Gold subscription plans for Intalio|BPMS Enteprise Edition, while Elite Support will be offered, at no extra cost as well, with the Platinum subscription plan. More on this next week, and in the meantime, more technology partners can be found there.

    Ismael and Team,

This news delights me too, since I am an ex-IBMer. I can’t wait until next week to see what the support plan is. Again, congratulations to you and the Intalio team.

    Regards

[…] At present time, Intalio is working with the following vendors to build a process-centric stack: MuleSource for the ESB, OpenLexicon for business rules, Liferay for the portal, Orbeon for dynamic forms, Alfresco for ECM, and Hyperic for system management. Interestingly enough, larger vendors are starting to adopt this model as well, and we recently signed a partnership with IBM for WebSphere Application Server Community Edition (WAS CE), following a very similar model. Down the road, we expect more partnerships of this nature to be established, and our relationships with these vendors to become even closer, with reselling agreements turning into OEM agreements when integration points have demonstrated to bring value to customers that can be converted into additional subscription services. […] IBM just issued a press release announcing 300 new ISV and SI partners for its open-source technologies. Interestingly enough, IBM selected Intalio out of 300 companies for the only partner quote included in the press release. Thank you IBM! We’re very much looking forward to making this partnership a huge success for both companies. […]

I am also an exIBMer. I was looking to Intalio as a new opportunity to broaden my company’s not too big portfolio, just when I discovered that IBM has been moving in the same direction.
I’ve just started Intalio Designer, and I’m very excited about the new possibilities it opens.
Thanks to all of you. Congratulations to the community.
