Performance Landing Page
January 31, 2007 | Ismael Ghalimi
The performance numbers demonstrated by Intalio|Server are getting quite impressive, so we have put together a performance landing page that outlines some of our most recent results. We will update this page as we get more and more benchmarks conducted with customers. Here are some numbers:
- Number of individual process activities: 250,000
- Number of process models deployed: 100,000
- Number of concurrently running process instances: 250,000,000
- Number of individual end-users per day: 100,000
- Number of servers in clustered deployment: 1,000
- Number of in-memory transactions per day and per CPU: 14,300,000
- Number of persistent transactions per day and per CPU: 3,600,000
- Roundtrip call to a Web Service from a process: 14 milliseconds

Dear Sir, Madam,
I would like to know what is the differente between in-memory transactions and persistent transactions.
Best Regards
-Marco Pirrone
Marco,
The status of persistent transactions is stored into a database every step along the way, while the status of in-memory transactions is not. In the case where your system would fail, the later could be lost.
Best regards
-Ismael
Anyone knows about the architecture used for this benchmark?
Sorry, I am not sure I understand the question. Are you asking about what platforms these numbers were achieved on? If so, the numbers come from various customer sites.
Jonathan
