Odoo Functional Consultant – United States – East Coast – West Coast

Job Overview 

Our business solutions department is expanding its team in the US and is looking for a motivated ERP Consultant to drive sales, manage a client portfolio and assist in software implementation across the country. The expected responsibilities include and are not limited to:

• Sales Activities:
  o Develop and maintain a sales plan and opportunity pipeline with the business development team and directors across US.
  o Build and maintain relationships at the executive, operational and IT levels while being their main point of contact for any inquiries.
  o Own the complete sales cycle from lead generation to customer acquisition.
  o Manage an existing portfolio of clients and onboard new ones.
  o Ability to reach sales targets and acquire new customers consistently.
• Presales Activities:
  o Conduct product demonstrations on Odoo ERP to managers and executives in English language.
  o Assist customers in setting digital transformation journeys to improve overall business management and efficiency across departments.
  o Formulate responses to RFP (English language).
  o Prepare POC (proof of concepts) with the technical team and present it to prospects.
• Consulting Activities:
  o Gather business requirements of new and existing clients and translate them into an easily understandable format.
  o Suggest new innovative ways of managing business operations for clients across various sectors.
  o Actively communicate with customers to make sure satisfaction is always high.
  o Assist the project manager with product implementations on-site.
  o Deliver Odoo ERP training to end-users.
  o Accurately estimate work effort for requests issued by customers.
• Implementation Skills:
  o Project management and planning
  o Implementation methodology execution
  o Collecting and understanding the customer requirements – Create documents
  o Perform GAP analysis between needed solution and Odoo system
  o Develop the design of the solution – Create documents
  o Give better solutions compared to the legacy systems
  o Analyze and resolve complex customer issues related to data and processes.
  o Elaborate detailed functional design
  o Lead the creation of the prototype and milestones
  o Prepare the training and user manuals
  o Give the functional/technical training on the new system
  o Define the unitary testing plan and execute it – prepare test cases
  o Give support to the operation
  o Propose improvements and changes regarding the implementation process

Odoo Functional Consultant Requirements

• BS/MS in Engineering or Computer Science
• Fluent in English
• 5+ years proven experience with ERP applications:
• ERP functional knowledge
• Participation and leadership in ERP projects
• ERP Implementation methodologies knowledge
