Since its formation in 1999, Intalio’s team has been at the forefront of enterprise computing. Its members have worked to define standards today in use by most BPM products, lead major Open Source projects including Jetty, and developed key technologies in the Cloud Computing space.
Raj Jain, Chief Executive Officer
Raj Jain has over 18 years of product, operations, and consulting expertise in the enterprise software space. He was Co-founder, Chairman, President and CTO of Kintana, an enterprise software company and became General Manager of the IT Governance business unit after Kintana was acquired by Mercury (now a part of HP). Prior to Kintana, Raj was a lead consultant on some of the largest Oracle ERP implementations of their time, including Cisco Systems and Silicon Graphics. Prior to this consulting work, Raj was a lead developer at Oracle, in the Applications division. Raj has also served as advisor to numerous software related companies and venture capital firms.
Mark Tolliver, Chairman of the Board
Mark Tolliver brings more than 30 years of experience in the high-tech industry to his position as Chairman of Intalio. Mark is also CEO of Palamida, a San Francisco-based software company focused on software intellectual property management and compliance. Prior to Palamida, Tolliver was Executive Vice President, Marketing and Strategy, and Chief Strategy Officer for Sun Microsystems. In that role he was responsible for corporate marketing, product and business strategy, M&A, industry marketing and ISV programs. Before joining Sun, Mark was Vice President of Marketing at MasPar Computer Corp. and spent 16 years at Hewlett-Packard Company, where he drove the acquisition of Apollo Computer by HP. Mark holds an M.B.A. from the University of Chicago and a B.S.E.E. from the University of Illinois.
Marc Friend, Chief Operating Officer & CFO
Marc Friend is an experienced software investor, executive and entrepreneur. Prior to Intalio, Marc has held operational roles in Product Management at Microsoft, and Marketing and Finance roles in numerous start-ups. Marc was a founding investor in Acta Technology (acquired by Business Objects) and helped lead industry-defining companies through investment and Board responsibilities at 3dfx Interactive, Check Point Software, NetDynamics, and Salesforce.com. A 17-year veteran of the venture industry, Marc has served in General Partner roles at USVP and Summit Partners and as Venture Partner at Partech International and Saints Capital. Marc holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
Stuart Finn, Senior Vice-President, Worldwide Sales
Stuart Finn brings more than 20 years of successful sales and channel leadership to his role at Intalio as senior vice president of global sales. He joins Intalio after spending the past 8 years helping Internet and software companies create operational excellence in the areas of sales, customer service, and marketing. Prior to the founding of his consultancy, he spent 18 years building, training and motivating process-driven sales organizations to delivering rapid revenue growth. He has been responsible for building teams and processes that grew revenue from zero to $12 million, $9 to $47 million, and from $64 to $120 million – in both large and small organizations. He was the founding sales & marketing executive at comScore Networks (NASDAQ: SCOR) where he helped build the company. The majority of his tenure was with Lotus Development / IBM (NYSE: IBM) where he was a leader in field sales from the early days of Lotus Notes through its growth to a Billion dollar business. Mr. Finn holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Swamy Viswanathan, Interim Vice President of Marketing
Swamy Viswanathan is the interim VP of Marketing. Swamy is an experienced executive and entrepreneur. Swamy’s prior experience includes being the founder or part of the early team for a number of companies, most recently Language Weaver (sold to SDL), Qlip Media and Vignette. In each of these companies he was responsible for the products and go to market strategies. Swamy started his career as a management consultant with Arthur Andersen. He has a Master’s in Computer Applications from the National Institute of Technology in India.
Shao Fang, Vice President of Product Development
Shao Fang is responsible for the development of all Intalio’s products. Shao brings 15 years of experience in enterprise software development and management, concentrating in the areas of open source, business process management systems, portal and composite application frameworks, and workflow. Prior to Intalio Shao held leadership roles at Inventec Services, SpikeSource, SeeBeyond, Asera, and SAP. Shao received BS in Engineering and Applied Science from California Institute of Technology and MS and PhD degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
Antoine Toulme, Chief Architect
Antoine Toulme serves as Chief Architect for Intalio, where he guides technology direction and product architecture. Antoine has a history of technology innovation and product development in BPMS software. He brings that innovative drive to technology leadership for the Intalio|Create product – leading architecture, feature development and product execution. Prior to his current role, Antoine was a key contributor to the Intalio|bpms product. Throughout his professional career, he has been active in the Open Source software community and has been a moderator, contributor, committer and active participant to many of the standards bodies surrounding Business Process Modeling. Antoine holds Bachelors and Masters degrees in Computer Science from UTT.
